Thanks, Rob, this was extremely helpful. We’re a non profit org producing 1-2 new DVDs per month. The DVDs contain talks by a teacher and have subtitles in 8 languages. We typically have submenus for each language for chapter selection.

Here’s the question:
We want the text to change color when selected, rather than have box around the text change color. How do we do that with the highlight mask approach? Or do we need to go the more complex individual layered button approach. If we need the layered button approach, do you have or know of a tutorial for this? If not, do you have a sample of a button which is text wherein the text changes color when selected.
