You load the .sync clip in the source monitor – from there I switch the timeline view to source side, zoom in on the clap area with waveforms on. Then, from the command palette of all the buttons (command/control 3), on the TRIM tab, there is a slip left and slip right button. Clicking these (or mapping them and clicking them), will slip audio 1 perf for each clip in their direction. You will see he waveforms move left or right when you do.

No, it is not that expand luminance, and that has been hit or miss in the last few versions. v8.3 added specific color space settings that include full range, and 2020 in addition to 709. Right-click one of the source/record monitors and you will find it with the target mask selection.

In MC 8.3 you can set up different color spaces for internal source, record, and full screen monitor (except pop-ups). In all versions previous to 8.3, the GUI monitors in MC could not be trusted for any real color viewing.

It has been a long time request to have in-app stackable key functions, but that has never made it to the top of the priority list. For now, it is only what third party applications can do.

Again, I feel this particular process will stop playback, but these apps can be useful for a bunch of other stuff. I have used them to help select “AutoSync and OK” as as simple example of an easy two steps into one.

It has been noted before and in beta that the metadata columns can be inconsistent – same thing for source path – you will find differences there too from time to time.

I fear that this particular keyboard entry would stop playback. There’s only a very small set of keys that can be used during video playback like Mark IN, OUT, add a locator/marker, or using an external (supported) mixer for audio levels.
As far as combining function for more complex key combinations, most users turn to third party applications.
