Thanks for the replies. It’s not a 24p issue, I’ve tried the flickerfix plugin also to no avail. I think my best solution is to cut around it, luckily I have a lot of footage to choose from and the problem certainly is intermittent. One clip will have the flicker, the next one won’t, then it’s back on the next clip. Hard to figure out, just an annoying idiosyncracy I suppose.

Is there any way that anyone knows to remove or reduce the resulting flicker in editing? Even though this is an old thread, I’m still facing this problem. I’m working on a Avid Media Composer and have tried a few things but so far with no success. Thanks.
