I just uploaded to youtube then post the link. If I’m understanding you.

I will most certainly give it a try when I have more time to play. 🙂
Thanks again.

Hi Mark
I am going to try the text layer when I have the time to mess with it. At the moment I’m a bit under the gun and it’s taken way too long to get to this point.
As it stands I built this using the star shape since I already had each star sized and positioned before coming on the forum. So here’s how I did it from a novice perspective.
I cut and pasted the each previous motion path to the next star then positioned it using the control points.
I figured now I can apply the 3D to each star individually to get the same effect as Paramont as indicated with the first star that comes into frame. It won’t be a simple cut and paste of the keyframes like I can with the scale but it will get there.
I figured the way the stars align (no pun) I had to treat them independently.
It didn’t take as long as I thought but no doubt an unorthodox way of doing it.Am I on the right track here?
Thanks for helping me get this far.

I almost have this nailed.
In addition to my last post, I added a sequential replicator (something I had to really search for)
That gave me the trailing stars. However,
The stars build out to 15 then end as one star at the end of the motion path.
Heres how far I got and the problem.
https://youtu.be/tbH91nYMCYIIs there a way to control the parameter of each individual star? i.e. Each yellow stars need to stop on their respective black stars and not back into one star (object). In addition each has to rotate slightly into position.
If this is something I have to do by individually attach a motion path to each star then so be it. Just thought there might be a better way.
Again thanks for any help

Mark I really appreciate you getting me this far.
So here’s where I am.
I did use the star shape.Replicator:
set to Geometry
Shape source well is empty
Points set to 15 (stars)
They’re piled on top of each other.Motion path:
Path Shape is set to open spline (because that seems to be the only thing I can shape the path with)
Shape Type B-SplineProblem: Stars are stacked on top of one another and cannot drag Motion Path to Replicator well.
Stars follow path as a clump and can’t seem to separate themOddly enough the 3D space and drawing the B-Spline path I don’t seem to be having any trouble with making one star perform the way I want. Its getting the 15 to follow after one another.

Ah! I think I figured it out.
Didn’t see the little replicator button way down in the bottom corner. -
Thanks Mark
Sad to say I haven’t spent much time with the replicators. Doing simple stuff but need to jump to the next level.
It makes sense what your saying especially since I’m trying to do it by building each star and each with its own B-Spline. I don’t see it ending well. lol
Do I use like the Line Segment replicator and modify it? There doesn’t seem to be a generic one anywhere.or I’m not looking hard enough.

Don’t know if this even fits in the same class, but has anyone had experience with the MOTU V4HD?I realize it does not have onboard drives and needs a laptop (or such) to record. The question is more reliability, support and overall thought.
