10bit is the way to go and so I have been looking a the Decklink option which looks
pretty good.
But they have heaps of different cards…
What are you using?

I want to dump to Digibeta deck but would like the HD option for later.

What would you suggest….

So I chuck in a SATA disk and it will play back 8bit Uncompressed.

8bit should be good enough for Broadcast title. yeah?

And then for output to a digi beta deck,, what are my options?

When you import the file make sure to “Interpret the footage” correctly.

Nice tutorial,
Do you know how to animate a mask with a border.
Is there a way of giving a border/frame to a mask?

A mask is easy to animate, but what i’m doing is also animating a white shape and keyframeing it to the mask edge. very tedious and not that smooth.
