Yes, but its awarkward to adjust curves with the convert tool. Thanks for you botton line comment. I’ll make my paths in Illustrator and paste them in I guess.

    Thanks!

    Gang,

I appriaciate all your suggestions, but it’s not the problem I’m having.
I’m not looking to change tools while working with the pen tool, I’m looking to
change directions after I have pulled a curve to an entiarly new direction,
while holding the prior curve I just pulled.

It’s like, in Illustrator, when you use the pen tool
and you have pulled a curve, you simply hold down the
option key and it holds the prior curve you just pulled but
allows you to now go in a new different direction.

Does this explain it better? AE does not do this.
The option key turns the pen into the convert tool and I loose the curve behind it.

    Thanks!

I’d love to find those links to learning motion tracking. I looked for them below but no luck. Do you know where to look?

    Thanks!

How do I motion track on a null layer if I can’t see where to
    place my corner pins?

I have a tilt down shot that I want to remove the shy in
and I can’t use a key because the sky is the same color as the rest of the image.

I can easly motion track the image but I want the tracking info applied to the mask
I create so I don’t grow old rotoing. The null / parent thing sounds like a great idea but I don’t get how to do it on a null layer.

    Thanks!

    Nate,

    It’s a Day Shot.

In masking out the sky of the pan down clip,
can I assign motion tracked keyframes to that sky mask
so I don’t have to roto every frame? Is this possible?

Then all I have to do is add my pan down of the haunted house on top
and I’m good to go. Is this OK?

    Thanks!

    Thanks so much!
I forgot the order works like in After Effects in the order you stack up the filters, right?

    Thanks!

Really good advice. Thanks! I’ll do it. Is the glass effect done with a 3rd party filter?
