I am having a similar issue, but don’t want to pony up the cash for new compression software. I have cleaner 6.5.1 and compressor 3. it seems that the apple spec’s claim you have 4:2:2 control in compressor’s mpeg 2 format settings but I dont see it enabled. and when i try to use cleaner to output, though i can set the chroma, I can’t get the mpeg 2 format in full HD (1920×1080) to work with the mpeg 2 size limitations – I get a “image size not divisible by 16” error. anyone know of a work around? I’m trying to export for DGfastchannel and the chroma level is the only hiccup i seem to be running into.
