I’ve got he boot camp and the same thing is one VISTA AND OSX

The same porblem is on the OSX but it doesn’t generate the whole PP4 to collapse … this ImporterProcessServer thing is just simply hanging down very shortly after launching the PP4… but inspite of that rest works fine … :O
The strande thing is that the nubers of maximum ram usage are in both cases reeching the same value … and then the process dyes …

Any ideas … maby a preyer to to the Adobe ico ………

    this sucks

  • no the footage was captured via fire wire and a dv vcr the footage was dv 4;3 nothing special …

the pc is mac based vista bootacamp …

    THE ONLY SOLUTION I FOUND
was to instal the mac version of premiere … and everything came to be wright …
I thinking that teh fault is one the side of viste somewhere … but i dont know where ….

any ways thanks for feedback …

PS. the othere thing that I came on was that the Blackmagic Decklink HD Extreme works better on PREMIERE ON OSX than on VISTA.
Ex. the files-paths from SONY EX1 are supported natively… I’ll post it on the blackmagic forum

THERE IS HOPE THAT EVERY THING WILL CONTINUE TO RUN OK

    Cheers …

  • unfortunetly the drive file sytem is ntfs and the other wilder thing is that out side the premiere the filel are in wright duration. I can play the whole file for ex. in windows media player Cinema Player and otheres …. any thoughts …??
