Letus Ultimate works great with HPX300.
You have to add the Letus 1/3″ Pro Full Frame Relay Lens to connect.Best Regards,

Hi, How’s the EX1R going on?
EX1R Resolution is awesome because of its 1/2″CMOS sensor.
Broadcast Standard is 4:2:2-50Mbps and EX3 only 4:2:0-35Mbps.
4:2:2 color reproduction is thick and 4:2:0 is thin.Buy EX1R3: $400 rebate, unknown Megapixel 1/2″ sensor, 8bit 4:2:0 35Mbps, add Nano Flash for 4:2:2-100Mbps and up, plastic look
Buy HPX300 : $800 rebate + March 2010 promo 2x 32GB E Series P2Card, 2,2 Megapixel Sensor, Great DOF, 1/3″ 3MOS 10bit 4:2:2 AVC-Intra 100Mbps, rigid full size ENG camcorder, DPX conversion Plugin to unleashed the Beast! 😀

You have to try the DPX file created from P2 CMS conversion plugin and put it into the Apple Color, or other grading system and you will see the real beast that hidden in the 10bit AVC-Intra 100 codec 😀

August 31, 2009 at 7:10 pm in reply to: the best capture card for DVCPRO HD 720p 25I just tried printed it from XDCAM EX to Beta SP… same result.. the color looks “thin”, I used DeckLink and Matrox MXO2. Again I do my old way, print it to DVCAM, recaptured with Uncompressed then print it to Beta SP, and I got normal color result.
Maybe it’s because DVCAM/ XDCAM EX is a digital format and it’s only 3-4 MB/sec and Beta SP is analog 20MB/sec.
And maybe DVCPRO HD has bigger date rate, so got no problem. IMHO -

August 31, 2009 at 8:46 am in reply to: the best capture card for DVCPRO HD 720p 25Hi, I had experienced when print DVCAM material to the Betacam SP/ DigiBeta, the color was half dropped than the original. I’d try Compressor to convert to Uncompressed 8 or 10 bit but the result was still the same, so I print it to the DVCAM VTR first then recaptured it with uncompressed 8 or 10 bit, then printed it to the Digibeta or Beta SP, I got the normal color result. Is this will happen also if we print from DVCPRO HD to BetaSP or DigiBeta?
