Has anyone found a solution to this problem?

  • I know this is a 2005 post but I get the same problem with AE CS5 in 2011. Have you found a solution?

    Hi John,

Thanks a lot for the quick response.

I have already tried this solution which works only partially for me.

    Let me explain:

I have to publish my videos on a “on demand” server and this “on demand server” crashes systematically with those “fake FLV files”.

That’s why I’m trying to export a real FLV file that does not contain the Gamma shift.

Would you know how to do that?

    Hi Zane, thanks for responding.

I’m working with DVCPRO50 footage on an internal 250 GB Disk. No RAID, no external graphic card.

    -PS-
I don’t feel stopped by that technical problem, i guess it will just take a little bit more time to edit the project.

I’m sure everything will end up being super nice.

    Thanks for the help guys.

Pardon me for not putting in the details of my system.

    I’m running a G5 2x 2GHZ with 1,5 GB of RAM under FCP 5.

I think that says a lot about my problem…

I have made some tests and cutting with 4 angle Multiclips is as good as it gets with my machine…

I think I will either have to cut 4 clips at a time or to litterally cut it the traditional way with ins and outs.

Has anyone ever worked with that many angles on a small system? Any piece of advice would be helpful.
