What I find works best and is the fastest is I make droplets of the exact settings I want [in Compressor] – and all I do is drag my files onto the droplets, and Compressor makes the files in a fraction of the time of QT pro.
Furthermore, you can drag multiple clips onto the droplet and they export as a batch – so, no having to futz with individual clips.
And finally, I’ve got my Compressor set up with Qmaster to harness the processors of multiple computers, so it takes exponentially fast, too.
I make a ton of compressed videos every day, so this works well for me.
