I just watched closely & figured out that its not just out of sync, but that the video is actually playing quite sped up, while the audio stays at the right rate of speed.
So, no matter how much I syncronized, it would never be right.

Any ideas?

The farther along it plays, the worse its out of sync & the video WAY ahead of the audio. So, no matter how much I syncronized, it would never be right.

Any ideas?

Its only this one file, but it plays fine in every other program.

A friend suggested this easy to use program (Which is a must for me) called “Shrink”.
Its the easiest way Ive found to bring media onto my comp.
Its really good with my home movie projects.

Can you bring a movie from a DVD-R straight from the disc into Vegas without needing something like shrink?

Ive also been told that Vegas just really sucks at editing Mpeg.

Anyone have a solution that doesnt require more software, or simply accepting the problem?

Why would the file, & only this file, play fine with every player, but then mess up once loaded into vegas?
