It will not work.
Not with my player BR-HD50, not with my camera GY-HD100E.
Not with “Capture now”, not with “log clip”.
Not with “Create new clip on Start/Stop” on or off.
Perhaps because it is “PAL”.
My FCP is version 6.0.4
So I think there is no solution for my problem.

The settings are:
Easy Setup: Format: HDV
Use : HDV-720p25
Rate : 25 fps
The information tells me:
Sequence Preset: HDV-720p25
Capture Preset: HDV
Device control Preset: HDV Firewire 25 fps
…. etc.

My software is Final Cut Studio 2

Thanks for help Michael but in the “Log and Capture” window I only see in the “Capture Settings” tab : “Scratch Disk…” and after that: the free space in time and GB.
???
