I’ll try a new file name!

I don’t know if it has a file size problem, but considering I shrunk the file down to 1MB for testing, I don’t think that’s my problem.

On the machines that print posters, it doesn’t even load my file. The first time it said, “USB drive is empty.”

On a 2nd attempt, I threw a photo on there just to make sure. Photo was useable, my created file was not.

I tried every combination. Walmart.com didn’t accept any of them. Is there a hidden coding that tell the website that it’s a photo vs not? Because I even opened a photo, saved it with the same settings, and that file uploaded.

I tried settings 1-12, with all 3 boxes of each. Yes, I tried about 36 different files 🙁

I believe it has something to do with the folder.

    ~ The sequence I’m using doesn’t matter.
~ I doesn’t matter if I relocate the files to a new folder, it is affecting everything in Problem Folder
~ New files put into Problem Folder and unaffected.
    ~ Deleting and re-importing doesn’t help.

So you just DL’d the link, installed the program, opened it and chose all your locations? Can you do multiple folders at once?

Where in TX? I’m from TX too! What are you filming/editing?

“Were you provided with the complete BPAV folders from the shoot?”

    Yes I was.

Sorry, the HD is in the Producer’s office. but I have the computer so I can follow along.

    So from here I…

    1) Open FCP
    2) Click Log and Transfer
    3) Add Volume (top left corner)
    4) Choose the correct folder
    5) Click Automatic Transfer

And then the files will be editable in FCP. Is that the gist of it? And do I choose the whole BPAV folder, or just the mp4 itself? I guess I would try both if I don’t get a response before I meet back up.

And if I can’t get the Log and Transfer to work, I’ll check out Sony’s XDCAM Transfer.

Otherwise the only thing I found is to buy Wondershare Video Converter for Mac and reconvert it back to something I can edit. What would be best to go back to? *.mov?
