Problem solved… I guess

If you have any idea about why it would suddenly happen with no updates or anything, I’d love to hear it. We’re starting to look very seriously at freezing the machines once all the kinks are worked out so we don’t have to worry about things like this happening.

Ran into the same exact problem at my workplace. Two machines both went crazy over sync issues. Moving the card to slot 2 solved it.
We hadn’t updated anything in over a month, so the fact that the cards suddenly (and at the exact same time) both went out on the machines is a little baffling. We’ve had one machine almost a year, and the other for roughly a month, and the problem happened at the same time for both.
The only thing that was done on either machine that seemed related was two days ago I did screen sharing…

Yes.
Talking to my boss, the only thing we can think of that’s changed is we played around with sharing screens between the two macs. Would that have done anything?

I should add:
Both use Kona LHe cards, and one has had it’s card for 3 weeks, and the other for more than 3 months (that’s how long i’ve been here, not sure how much longer).

Problem solved. Was using a color smoothing 4:1:1 filter out of habit.
