Keying/Effect Issues in FCP
Hi,
First time poster here. Couldn’t find this anywhere.
I just got into a new job where we do everything HD. I’ve been trying to perfect some green screen clips, but every time I render out, there are 3-5 blue vertical lines that deform the image after it renders.
I’m editing in Final Cut 6.0.4 on a PowerMac with 2 X 3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Xeon, with 4GB Ram.
The footage is 1280 x 720 compressed with Apple ProRes 422 (HQ). 59.94fps
Anyone have any ideas?

What keyer are you using, and what format was your footage shot?

Problem solved. Was using a color smoothing 4:1:1 filter out of habit.
