Yep, I am using 4.3.0 Win downloaded just this week orlate last week.

Re-opened AE and was able to finish the one job using text.

So the problem is intermittent but frustrating when it happens.

Go to the tutorial section and search for tutorials for After Effects. There is a tutorial by John Dickinson “Handwritten text using AE’s Brush Tool”. I think this is what you are looking for.

It takes some time, okay it’s takes a long time but if you are careful in creating your text in this way, you will get a great result.

    Hope this helps.

    Mike,

Here’s what you get if you go to a WEVA expo.

A lot of people that tell you what you have to do to make it in the business, but don’t tell you how to do those things in the real world. And a very small trade show.

Yes you can sit around and talk to the people that do these things all year and most are all wondering how to do what the speakers tell you, but you can learn from ordinary people doing what you want to do.

I can’t see spending the money for that anymore.

I was a WEVA member for many years and went to the expos and finally got very tired of the same people telling me to basically keep spending money to come to all the WEVA events only to hear how great they were.

Save your money and if you want to go to a real trade show, go to NAB in April. Don’t waste your time and money with WEVA.

If you have 9 different timelines, then that’s exactly what you have. Each timeline is it’s own seperate timeline and each starts at chapter 1.

You can have the end action of one timeline point to the next timeline but this does not create “chapters”.

You create chapters on the individual timeline.

You might want to use the preview feature to make sure the project is doing what you want it to before actually burning the DVD.
