Yes, I’d say all DVD players sold since quite a while back read dual layer DVDs. Most movies, applications and games you buy on DVD today are dual layer.

Actually, I’ve successfully installed both Motion and Color on a white 2-year old MacBook (not Pro). Starting the applications doesn’t go so well, though…
