Some more info.. I am editing on the Avid, outputting a GVG EDL, Then outputting the show to HDCAM SR. Digitizing the tape into the Resolve as DPX, and conforming it to the EDL. This works fine. NOw, when a change in the Avid is made and I try to import that new EDL into the project and have the colored media relink to the new EDL minus the changes… it goes whack… where there should be black holes or extended shots, it seems that it is pulling media from other places or clips around other clips and filling in the holes on its own.

So maybe the way we are bringing in EDLs is not the right way. Maybe it works fine for the first pass, but once we make changes it can’t keep track?
