Thanks for the reply….

My first attempt at a ‘sync’ took 13 hours….and then didn’t work!

But I’ve learned that a better workflow is just to create a new project with the clips that need syncing…

…and keep these sequences much shorter…at first I just threw all the clips I wanted on one timeline!

With shorter sequences this is now working much better.

Support at Plural Eyes have indicated an update is coming which will allow us to just specify one sequence…so this will make things easier too…thanks.

Thanks for taking the time to have a look at my problem…

Pin to clip certainly makes the process much easier…thank you…

But it might be one for the Adobe team to look at…because I think this process could be simpler again…

Essentially if I’ve clicked on a particular image and I want to go to the first keyfame I’ve setup I click “Go to Previous Keyframe” arrow…this does go to the first keyframe…at this point all I want Premiere to do is keep showing me that picture…

…but instead it shows the previous photo…which really is of no use when you consider the reason I’ve clicked “go to previous keyframe” is to actually change a setting…not to look at the photo before…

…so I then have to manually drag the key frame forward..change the settings…then drag it back…

…ultimately as much I love Premiere… I think utilising the “Ken Burns” in Premiere is quite clumsy…the free program “Microsoft Photo Story” utilises a visual rectangle system that is spectacularly simple…but Photostory doesn’t have the export quality power of Premiere…

I’ve also look at Lightroom’s ‘Slideshow’ but it also seems limited in this regard…

Photostory’s “Customize Motion” system would be a fantastic feature in Premiere Pro….might have to add it as a feature request!
