I&#8217;m liking the Hisense U7 so far. I realized my main LG 31MU97 is starting to show it&#8217;s age. It supports DCI-P3 (and not bright enough for HDR?) and maybe somewhat limited with Rec2020. I may need to get a new monitor at some point for my editing machine itself (Asus Pro Art?). </p>

Thanks for clarifying the color space for HDR, Rec2100. I assume gamma is HLG?</p>
<p><span>I don&#8217;t think I can afford the stuff I&#8217;d really like. It looks about $10,000 for a 75&#8243; display capable of covering the Rec2100 color space, as in the LG one you mentioned above (not out yet).</span></p>

Not sure I have the $$ for a ~75&#8243; broadcast monitor. <span>When I built my editing machine I bought a tool from X-Rite to calibrate the 10-bit monitor I edit on, cause I couldn&#8217;t afford a broadcast monitor&#8230; It seems to get me close enough. Someday I may have to buy one of those little ones&#8230; I digress&hellip;</span></p>

Typical setup (60 minutes style &#8211; I forgot real name) is two cameras over the shoulder zoomed in, and one wide in middle of set. In my work, the goal is to capture the face, especially eyes.</p>

NLE Software is VERY complex. I&#8217;ve approached Magix with similar questions, on which hardware they recommend and they don&#8217;t even know.</p>

The build has gotten faster and faster as Magix implements more of the hardware support in their software. I&#8217;m now running Vegas Pro 18.</p>

It ran rock solid for about a day. Now it runs for about 5 minutes and randomly crashes.  Only things I notice crashing it consistently:</p>
<p>1. Task switching<br />
2. Clicking too fast in application on timeline</p>
<p>Any ideas are welcome. My workflow is completely destroyed with this crashing so much. I found a thread on Vegas Forum website. I cannot seem to find it again. Had customary stuff, turn this off, try that, etc. etc. etc. I tried some of the itmes:</p>
<p>1. Turned dynamic ram preview to 0 MB &#8211; NO HELP<br />
2. Closed Project Media &amp; Explorer Panes &#8211; NO HELP<br />

There&#8217;s another post on here about my setup. It&#8217;s no slouch. I ran every update with Vegas for the most part, the last being Vegas Pro 17 and now I&#8217;m running 18.</p>
<p>I am elated to see how much better the timeline playback is in 18. However, I&#8217;m about to cry. It crashes CONSTANTLY. I can barely use the software.
