Thanks Luke. That setting was on the Digbeta deck itself (SIF as opposed to AES/EBU as well). I was using the usual Easy Set-Up profile within FCP.
I did try re-render out the sound with FCP’s export AIFF function at 48 then re-import it. I probably should have tried it under QuickTime Pro. Also slightly kicking myself that i didnt try the AES/EBU output (I’m using an Extreme BM Card)
I think you’re probably right, that the audio file was corrupt BUT its a bit of a shame at the end of the day because I had to work to convince the client that we could just rent in a deck (their Media 100 was tied up) and it all went slightly belly-up. Oh well, no matter…
