What kind of hard drive arrays are you using for your source material?

Agreed, that book is a “how-to” on transitioning and is a great resource.

Being that Premiere will open your FCPro projects and likely will use the same hardware you already own, I would go that route.
I am.

I have a full set of Nikon mount Zeiss primes for mine, but usually roll out with My Tokina 20-70mm F/2.6-2.8 and the Nikon 50-135mm F=f/3.5.
If I need anything wider I put on the Lumix 7-14mm
This is what the Tokina looks like in a recent interview.

I will also add that I just picked up a fantastic Tokina (Nikon mount) 28-70mm F/2.6 that is an Angenieux design and works great for interviews.

I have both the RPZ 17-50mm Zoom as well as the RPZ 50-150MM zoom.
Until I get the HotRod tuner kit I ordered from Abel I won’t be able to use them, but from using them both on rental REDs I look forward to using them.

February 13, 2011 at 3:32 am in reply to: AF100 post workflow – transcoding with Compressor or MPEG Streamclip?I agree with Noel, I don’t se why you can’t just bring FCPro on laptop into the field.
Log and Transfer is the best way to bring in the footage.
If you insist on not bringing FCPro, Clipwrap is another option:
