What server are you using for your setup? I’ve heard upgrading to OSX 10.5.4 helps substantially.

I am in the same boat. I have two FCP suites (1 MacPro and 1 G5 Tower) and would like to allow them to access my eSata drive and a chain of FW800 drives if possible.

Hmmm. I think I could remove some audio clips and try it that way. The footage I’m starting with is HDV from an H1. I don’t get the option to choose what it goes to that I’m aware of.

I guess I’ll try the copy and see what happens. I only have a 500 gig drive so we’ll see if it fills up.
