Final Cut was showing both the SDI and Firewire video at 23.98 (which I assumed was 23.976), but in AE the Blackmagic SDI footage shows up as 23.970. Isn’t that weird?

I did something like that. I pasted all my music into a new sequence and exported an edl. But, the edl is kind of confusing for non-technical people.

The problem we run into is that since we are using library music, the music is cut up and looped quite a bit which makes for a bunch of clips with the same name that show up in different places on an edl because they’re on different tracks.

I guess my question is more Excel related. How do I translate the edl info into excel so that I can sort the info based on the in timecode?

Thanks everyone. The expression works great. I did need to add:
z = toWorld(anchorPoint)[2];
to get it to work right with the null.
