Will deleting the cache delete any of the photos or the changes that I applied to the photos in camera raw?

OK I moved the cache folder to a different location onto another internal HDD with more space but the old cache folder is still on the old HDD, should I just delete it or try moving the old cached files across to the new folder?

Also will deleting the cache delete any of the photos or the changes that I applied to the photos in camera raw?

I reset the Cache but still changes that I have made in camera Raw are not applied?

Will deleting the Cache damage or affect anything?
