Hi

I use this all the time in Premiere, so there’s no point in upgrading if after two versions Premiere, it still can’t handle Multiply/Screen and blur at the same time.

Playing around with it some more…This has got to be a major bug.
In the PPro2 demo I cant even add a Multiply Key effect to a clip in V2, then add Blur (or others such as colour correction) to a clip beneath in V1!
Whats the point in having Multiply or Blur if you cant add effects even on other layers? Grrr.

Has anyone got any ideas/ suggestions/ workarounds or tell me where I’m going wrong?

It’s a couple of years old. I’m pretty sure I used 6.5 or 6 at the oldest.
You’re right I did have a DV camera connected via a firewire card, which I dont have now. Could this be the cause?

I’ve just downloaded a Panasonic DV codec, and now it loads! Excellent!
