I will consult with them about type of file we work with and try to insist to work with original files if only they are not to heavy so we can work on-line in the cloud – that’s very important. I am responsible for OFF LINE editing, and they are getting only project file (they got copy of the same exact MOV files) so they can work with titles, colours, effects etc. I export from Vegas to Premier project file, then Premier convert’s it from older version to the 2015 version and it works fine when the only thing in project is simple cuts/cross-fades and music without any effects. I do the trick – after recompresing their MOV to MP4 I rename MP4 extension to MOV with the same files name so Vegas is aqtually working with H.264 and it works flawlessly and when they will open Premier project file, and got the same tree of catalogues the Project will be importing their original MOV files ;p
