I did resolve my problem, but I’m struggling to remember exactly how, but as far as I remember, I updated my 10.0c version, to 10.0e, that caused Sony Vegas to just not open at all. So I uninstalled it, and reinstalled 10.0e, but I think it still wouldn’t open, so I uninstalled it once again, and deleted every single file I could find that had much of anything to do with Sony Vegas. After that, I reinstalled it, and I’m quite sure it worked then.

I’ve also just had a look at the video (fully working one) I was having a problem editing, and it was created the same day I last posted about my problem, so the solution must not have taken long.

If you haven’t got the latest version of Sony Vegas 11.0, I’d advise updating it before uninstall/reinstalling everything, I wouldn’t imagine you would run in to the same problem I had after, and it might be fixed for you that easily. If you have got the latest version though, the easiest solution I’d know of would be just to uninstall, and delete all files of it before reinstalling.

Let me know if you fix it, or are still having trouble, if it’s the latter, I’ll continue to try and remember anything else from my situation.

I’ve just upgraded to 10e, and after restarting my computer, Sony Vegas is not opening at all, no matter which way I try it, it just does not open.

I honestly have no idea what version of Sony Vegas 10 I have, I’m very inexperience with this, only having edited a few videos.

Certainly, as far as I can tell, it all seems normal enough, but I’m very inexperienced with this, and couldn’t trust my own judgement on it.

Well I have the video, and if I play it in Windows Media Centre etc. the audio is perfectly fine, it’s 100% synced, but it isn’t in Sony Vegas, in Sony Vegas it’s synced until the 45 minute mark, and after that it just restarts the audio from the start of the video, no matter where I start it after 45 mins. If I started it on 50 mins, the audio would start from the start of the video, or if I started it from 1 hour 30 mins, the audio would still start from the start of the video.

Hope I helped make my problem a bit clearer, I honestly have no idea what’s going on. It’s quite a difficult one to explain.
