I’d need to double check, but I believe that the proxy files were created with Resolve. However, the proxies that were created were ProRes 422. This was done because I was under the impression that I’d be able to export through PP’s as 2k. Are you saying that’s not the case? If not, will I need to do color correction in another program, i.e., Speedgrade?

    Hey Andy,

I read up on this and was able to remedy any issues I previously had. Thank you for taking the time to respond. I’m sure I’ll have more questions the further along I get.

Media is on an external HD connected to the new computer which is currently running 2013. When I attempted to run in 2015, it did state “old version/need to be updated” and there was no media on the timeline, completely empty.

    Hey Andy,

    Apologies. Specs:
    Asus M51
    8GB RAM
    1 TB Mem
    AMD HD 8570

The project wouldn’t open, I’d get an error message and when PP 2015 would finally open, there would be nothing on the timeline. Media is ProRes 422.
