Thanks Andy, this will save me a lot of time in the future. Hope the pick and choose feature will be soon reintroduced. Or the ability to simply drag a clip’s filter out of the info box onto another clip in the storyline.

I noticed the Timeline Mode behavior too. You’d be able to modify audio levels in two different places, for example lift audio to 12db in Timeline Mode and then again in Edit Mode. Not sure wether Timeline Mode adjustments reflect changes on clip level in your event collection though. Will try that out later…

Thankyouthankyouthankyou! Scaling, positioning and rotating with proper ease in and out has never worked for me in FCP7. I had to use Digital Heaven’s DH_BOX as a workaround. But now you made it work in X, and its free – simply excellent!
