    Thanks for the tip!

Much better than by hand adjusting the anchor point value.

But, there most be a way to automatically set the anchor point to the middle of what you are drawing? I’ve tried every key combination I can find – but nothing works. Any tips on that?

  • That WAS the way to do it!
    Thanks for the help Brian!

  • Thanks for the tip Adam!

Sketch And Toon works a lot better!
    But!
When the ‘edges’ checkbox is checked it, once again, get’s messed up. I’m wondering if it all comes down to it being the .eps that is causing the trouble.
I think I will leave it at this. But it would be interesting to know what is really causing this problem.

So if anyone have any further ideas – please, let me know.

    And thanks for the help!

  • The logo looks just fine without the cel rendering. And the paths/splines (does the paths becoms splines inside C4D?) looks just okay.
Basically I’m going for that lo-fi outlined look as shown. I’ve turned off the anti-aliasing to get the hard jagged edges.
This would be perfect if just the front could be plain.

I’m feeling a little bit noobish here, 3d isn’t my main focus, but how could the Sketch and Toon module help me in this problem?

  • Thanks for the replay Brian,

    it helped. A little bit.
With a simple vector shape it now looks good. But with the desired logo it still gets all messed up. I’m not sure if it’s something in the complexity of the logo that C4D can’t handle (would be strange though).

I’m attaching both the troubled C4D-render and the original vector. You can see that the left shape looks okay (also an imported EPS) but the logo get’s all messed up in the front.

    hi!

    thanks for you replay.

Well, let me try to put it this way:

    First off:
I’m having trouble when the layers differs in time. It seems so at least. Is the function dependent on that all layers having the same lenght?

    Then:
How should I really look at the duration time? Is it dependent on how the comp is? If I have a comp that is 20s and I want every layer to appear after 1s then the duration should be 19? right?

  • So insted of $2974, it’s $299? That’s some discount.

  • Is there an cheaper alternative to Mocha? Anything?

I tried the demo and it seems really great. Rock solid, quite easy to use and with really good results. But – the price tag is not for me.
