    Thanks Rafael, I get the message. I’ll use the SEARCH tool rather than the Rafael tool.

    Hi John,

    I’ve used compressor to output to the default ProRes 422 setting and the file looks and plays great in the FCP viewer but when I place it in a sequence it has asks to match the settings. It than has the red unrendered line in the timeline and the video goes lighter when played through the Canvas! The ProRes 422 file is: ProRes 422(HQ)(source file size)720×400 29.9 fps. Do I need to change the default setting in compressor to a size FCP recognizes like 720×480, or the sequence in FCP. Sorry, but I’m nearly there, just need help on the final hurdle. Im on FCP 6.0.6.

    Thanks for the advice, the size of the video is 720×400 which I thought was odd….
