Thanks for helping me out here !

The effect simply does not work when i put it on the particular layer directly.
Beats me why but it simply doesnt 🙂

The adjustment layer just holds an simple hue/saturation with a blue-ish color and a simple glow.

I think im gonna try the track matte although i think that will not work with the swirl going around the 3d layer (containing the picture) at the moment.

Ill try to post some pictures of the layer stack and the problems i come across when i get home.

    My best regards, Martijn M

I found what my problem was.
I was using a green screen + keylight on the 3d layer that was containing the picture i used (ofcourse with a green screen).

This just delivered some problems and the effect didnt fully work.
Now i just edited the greenscreen in photoshop and imported the PSD containing the clean picture.
    Works perfectly.
The only problem i have now is that i dont know how i get this layer to NOT get affected by the adjustment layer that is above it in the layer stack.
It must be above it since it must be UNDER the particle layer contraining the particular settings which in return needs the adjustment layer for coloring effects.

    Any sugestions ?

    Sorry for my bad English,
    Martijn M

    Hi there again !
i tried to use it but it didnt work.
    Here’s what i did.

i made the light (emitter) swirl around my 3d layer (a picture) than i selected this 3d layer as the “Obscuration” layer and looked if it worked.
The emitter still remains behind my 3d layer.
It all looks right when i look from the top and see it swirl around my object.
But when i just look from the camera view it still doesnt work..

    Any ideas ?

    Greetings Martijn M
