  • Thanks Rafael. Should I transcode the 720p50 to a PAL upper field first? When I made a test dvd from an upper field sequence, the720p50 footage gave judder on the TV, the other footage moved smooth as butter. I can use a high end system for the rendering and transcoding of files. We just had to edit it on a medium performance machine due to budget constraints.

    The film was shot digital at 25P. So that means I’ll have to slow down and pitch up the audio. That should be doable in Soundtrack Pro. I’ll use cinematools to reconfirm the framerate.
