    The QT player shows it to have the same issues. I’ll try re-exporting it via compressor. Hopefully, something will be cleared up or answered with that.

    Thanks for your help, Garrett. Hopefully, this will be the solution. If not, I’ll put a video post up.

    Actually, I haven’t been using compressor. I’ve just been exporting it, and doing a quick onestep with iDVD so I can check it on various monitors. Do you suggest taking another step in the export process?

    I’m burning to DVD and playing on a monitor. The export settings are 1440×1080 QT.

    Thanks for the response. I’ve tried both. The initial text came from photoshop. I’ve since recreated it in FCP and unfortunately there are no major differences. And the HDV is interlaced.

    Any ideas?

  • I’ve given it a try, but it gives me a HDV capture window with the esc button as the only means for ending capture (don’t know if there’s a way to get in and out points). As well, it freezes my computer after a few minutes. Any advice?
