    OK.

    I think i’ve found solution.

In my project, (it is intended to sell on videohive) i’m controlling sets of actions with markers on one layer. I’ve made (“Start”), (“Title 1”), (“Title 2”), (“End”), markers. and when i move them through time, the sets of actions (move solid form one place to other, start and after a while end particles per second, change opacity, change wipe and feather of linear wipe, and stuff like that) move with them. I’ve done this so that user can easily adjust timign of this project. If it needs one part of project longer than the other then he or she just scrub marker later on. Problem is that i have lots of expressions and variables and for some reason AE with lots of those keeps building up memory usage. After I have decided to keyframe all used expressions i’m (still testing) able to render the whole scene without crashing.

So now I have another problem 🙂

How to convert every expression in Composition, or maybe better in every open composition on timeline. Is it possible?

I have found out on this really great place (MOOOOO) this script which i intend to tweek and use in my project. But it would be nice if someone knows how to convert all expressions in comp.

    Thanks.

  • I’m having same problems, Ae crashes after some time of rendering. Same thing happens, memory bulds up and when it hits the roof it crashes so much that i can’t even see picture in viewport. When i restart AE i can render from crash render point until mem usage hit’s the roof again. I’m not using any imported video, only plugins of ae and particular 2.

One thing. In win task manager Mem usage and Vrtual memory size stays on that high level even after purging all and deleting cache in AE.

I don’t have that machine like Dave, but the problem is the same.

What do you mean by that. I don’t understand you. I have same problem : failed render, and i’ve tried everything on this forum and it’s still failing. I’m using particular, so i would try what you did, but i don’t understand you. Thanks in advance
