failed render
Here’s the thing.
I know that i have really, REALLY low pc configuration with only 2gb ram but problem is here.
After a while of rendering, AE just stops rendering and says “Failed render at ####”.
When i go back to main comp, the viewport screen is black. I try to render from render breakdown position, but it keeps crashing. I try to close the project and open it again, but it keeps doiing the same. black screen and won’t render.
When I close AE CS4, and open it again, it opens the project just fine, and keeps rendering from the breakdown position fine, but then after a while it crashes again.
And i have to do the same procedure over again. Clos AE, open it, open project and render it from crashed position.
I have played with my project, and few times i have got “not enough memory for bluring”, and found out that the dof of camera maybe causing that problem. Shut down the dof but still get the breakdowns.
Have tried all the solutions found out on net, memory cash, disable opengl, acitvating purge at even 1 frame, with multiprocesing and without.
Within week of testing i have found out that AE keeps building up Mem usage (watched in windows task manager) to about 1,4 gb, and somewhere on that point it crashes my project. Funny thing is that even when I close project, purge all memory it keeps having that Mem usage. When I restart AE, mem usage drops to 150mb. Is there any way (besides purge after ### frames in secret preferences) to flush memory?
In project I’m using trapcode particular 2 for creating snow and dispersion of text and going to 20000 particles for aprox second or two.
And one thing, i have tried rendering project on friends slightly better comp with 3gb of ram. Win 7.
If there are some solutions, would be very greatefull to read them.
thanks.
