The blog post that Dennis linked to has only a partial list of issues addressed–generally the higher profile ones. This forum thread is more comprehensive: https://forums.adobe.com/message/7021140#7021140. And even that list of 78 fixes is not complete; it excludes fixes when it wasn’t clear from the bug report whether the issue dated back to CC2014.1 or was introduced (and fixed) in the course of the 2014.2 cycle.
I’m not sure exactly what your point is Robert. If I’m interpreting it correctly, this release is almost exactly what you’re asking for: overwhelmingly bug fixes with only a handful of new features, none of which entailed the kind of fundamental changes to the code that risk destabilizing things.

Chris: Here are the steps recommended by staff on a thread on the Adobe forums (https://forums.adobe.com/message/5418644#5418644):

Please Quit your existing Adobe Application Manager and re-launch it. It will update itself to the new Creative Cloud application and then you will see the CC apps for download.

In case you are a new user, go to creative.adobe.com and try downloading the apps from there and it will in turn download the new Creative cloud installer and install the desired apps.

Install the all new CC apps and check if that works fine.

Also clear your browser history and cache to experience new interface of https://www.creative.adobe.com

I hope something in there helps…
