Now for a follow up-question: What is the best way to encode my After Effects material for optimal image quality in Premiere/final project? Of course I don’t expect it to look exactly the same.

I don’t like the MPEG2 (DVD) presets because they seem too blurry. The “Microsoft DV” for AVI files looks a bit better, but still nowhere near the quality of the raw capture. Are DivX/H264 a way to go? Or even Quicktime format(100% quality JPEG?)? For some reason I never really ‘trust’ the Quicktime files… But if it’s the way to go…

Hope someone has experience on this subject and might be able to give me some tips. Thanks in advance.
