I am on Premiere Pro v25.1, build 73 on a Mac. The ability to format subtitles and captions seems to have disappeared. I need to select typeface and a background for text for branding purposes and need this. Does anyone know why this is gone and hoiw can I get it back?

I import using Prelude without transcoding and found that it started doing that a few updates ago. It brings in all the subfolders, content/clips, for the .mxf files. I have been using After Effects at a basic level for a while. I would like to up my game and take some classes in-person. I’ve done tutorials online but know that I will learn and focus better in-person and would like a multi day intensive instruction. Any suggestions? Any thoughts/experience on something like American Graphics Institute or similar?

I’ve been using the closed captioning function inside Premiere 2022 and it works nicely and is easy to use. I also have used rev.com. They are fast and very inexpensive. I’ve had turnaround sometimes in under an hour.

I’m looking at purchasing a couple C300 Mark IIIs. Does anyone have a recommendation for a viewfinder for that camera? The flip up screen is really nice, but when getting action b-roll I need a viewfinder for more precise focusing. Having both viewing options on my C300 Mark IIs has been ideal. Thanks!

Same issue here. I went on some other forums and an Adobe rep said the are “working on it”. The recommended fix that worked for me is to go to Workspaces, select the default “edit” workspace and then go back to your preferred workspace. That seems to work till I start another project and have to do it again.
