Having a weird issue in Premiere Pro 2020. I can’t seem to drag clips into bins or the timeline. Anyone have this issue before? How did you resolve it?

I had the same problem on both Mac and PC after updating to PP v14.5. I ended up going back to 14.4 since I tend to use these features quite a bit. I also submitted a bug report on the Adobe site.

Yes, 14.5 does not let you organize bin clips, nor allow you to drag in assets from Media Browser. Also, you cannot hit the delete key to delete an effect like Lumetri while in the effects panel. Instead you have to right click the effect and select clear.

I’m able to do the things (on a MacPro / Catalina) you are saying you can’t do. If deleting the prefs doesn’t fix these issues, try reinstalling the app.

Same issue here. I went on some other forums and an Adobe rep said the are “working on it”. The recommended fix that worked for me is to go to Workspaces, select the default “edit” workspace and then go back to your preferred workspace. That seems to work till I start another project and have to do it again.

I’ve had that exact same issue. I also can’t open the projects I’ve been working on lately without opening a fresh new project first and then selecting my project from recents. And right in the middle of two big deadlines of course. I have to say…this particular update particularly screwed me…and caused lots of undue stress.
