  • even then it will be a long and slow process to convert existing video to cinema dng as im suspecting each frame needs to be converted similar to the process used in the adobe dng format.

    so to archive your existing videos into cinema dng will be a long overhaul but in the end it will be worth it if in fact you will be able to treat the adobe cinema dng files similar to the way you work with adobe dng photo files non destructively along with the metadata features. wish full thinking

    seems as though i found a product in which would do the job but is a little bit pricey on my end to purchase

    “mpeg decode error” is the error message and sometimes it the error message mentions premiere inserts a red frame.

    as an update to my issue. i was able to find a solution to one of my current problems that is related.

    I was running a cs4 – v.4.1 update and my editor was running a cs4 – v.4.2 update . i updated my software and the red x and mpeg decode error disappeared.

    but im still searching for a software that can verify the integrity of a video file to let me know that in fact there isnt any errors within the file.
