Adobe cinema dng / premiere cs5 / what program will export
With adobe cinema dng being developed i understand there is a adobe premiere cinema dng importer available but is there an exporter available.
im looking to export all my master avi and hdv mpeg files to cinema dng .
im then looking to see if i can attach my metadata keywords to that cinema dng file and see if adobe media encoder will embed the metadata in the outputted file . i am aware that some formats like wmv is limited in which feilds metadata will be stored but would like to see if this is possible.
any know if a program thata available for purchase will export video files and enclose them in the adobe cinema dng format?

Hopefully something new will come out once CS6 is out.

even then it will be a long and slow process to convert existing video to cinema dng as im suspecting each frame needs to be converted similar to the process used in the adobe dng format.
so to archive your existing videos into cinema dng will be a long overhaul but in the end it will be worth it if in fact you will be able to treat the adobe cinema dng files similar to the way you work with adobe dng photo files non destructively along with the metadata features. wish full thinking

Yeah I’m eyeing it as an archival format for museums and hoping it gains more momentum since I don’t really like any of the current lossless options.
