I use Prompt! https://www.movieclip.biz/prompt.html I paid $22 bucks for it, now its $44. But it works well pc/mac. I pick up a cheap laptop on ebay, and bought a laptop stand for it also.

Use a wireless keyboard and mouse and your are set.

    Ed,
Do you render the AVI with Vegas, or do you let DVDA3 do the file conversion from AVI to MPEG2? I will try a few methods tonight.

Do you think the markers/chapters have anything to do with out of sync audio problems?

    Ed,

I am using the latest version of Excalibur 4 that I downloaded from your site (you sent me a link about 2 months ago). I am running Vegas 6b and DVDA3.

The wedding ceremony is in sync when I output it in MPEG2. It is also in sync in DVDA3 when you play it on the timeline. But when I filnalize the video and play it back on a DVD player it’s quite a bit out of sync. All my other videos are in sync (interviews, toast, etc).

I had this problem last time I did a wedding (using multi-cam 3)The audio was ok until I finalized the DVD. However I solved this problem by deleting all my chapters. Since mulit-cam uses markers to cut the video, DVDA3 saves the markers from vegas and imports them as chapters (I know you now this, heck you designed it). Since I had over 99 chapters in my previous weddding video ceremony, I deleted them and put in the chapters I desired. This seem to fix the audio problem. So when I came across this issue again I deleted all chapters (even before I rendered as a mpgeg in vegas) and still have audio issues.

    Any ideas?
