Hi Steven, thanks very much for your help, after what you said I looked up ‘nesting sequence’ and it siad ‘press Shift+T to open the source sequence in the Timeline’ I tried it and bingo, the timeline updated and tracks spread out properly to edit.
I just need to understand a bit more about nesting sequences and why one would use that feature, it defaulted to that when I dragged the sequence from the bin to timline firstly 🙂

Thanks for your suggestion Steven but that’s not possible.
Anyone know why this project is being merged to one video and one audio track when imported and dragged to timline; displaying correctly across all tracks when opened the normal way?
