  • Hi Sam – well, it could work like you said but that means I am forced to add the final effect to the ENTIRE TRACK and sometimes I have a 1.5 hrs track and want to add a certain general effect or look to only have of it.

I understand that sometimes I ended up with the same effects 2 times on the same scene, and although it was annoying, I realized that was generated by a user mistake and I went back and fixed it 🙂

I find it way more more difficult like it is now, where I am being in danger of cancelling all my previous scene scpeific FX work in order to paste-in new general ones.

A dialog box would be pretty awesome – but if that’s too much to ask, I would go with the old behavior in a heartbeat, hence the reason why I am currently working with Vegas 11 again as I don’t have the time to figure out a different workflow than I am used to just to bypass this change.

  • The implementation of the current thing is stupid to say the least. If they don’t address it in a firmware update I will have to rollback to Vegas 11. I upgraded because I changed my video card from nVidia to Ati and seems that V12 has a better support for ATI cards. Damn … can’t have the cake and eat it too it seems 🙂
