OK maybe audio compression made me apply this automatically to
video also. Still it feels that compression may do something bad there 😉Just e feeling not a fact.

It is for seeable like this i’d say.
DVD compresses so heavily all the material that i would be surprised if all this did not happen.
Some color is thrown away etc.—

more cuda more watts and more heat inside mac pro.
Probably it is hackable but there will be downside for over heating and no power to drive this monster.
Mac pros power supply will fail.so you still would need cubix and you have to beef up the power supply if needed.

Fcp fields act bad for me mostly.
Something i ever did not experience on my pc based premiere.Lets say i will put in the timeline material that is progressive
and leave fields to non and all goes blocky or order is reversed.I think it is important to get perfect results from fcp to see if it makes things better.
I always test on regular crt tv or monitor with fields.Secondly field order is also big key. Some material that comes in to fcp seems fine
but when you export it will go mad. Timelines and projects are fine but the material
has a problem with fields and fcp can not solve this.So i see there is a lot of options that make things go bad.
