    Best is really relative.

I ‘d go with fsi (Flanders).

Love my flanders, and their customer service is second to none. I always know the image quality will be spot on as well, which is worth its weight in gold.

The FSI 2461 supports P3. The monitor is selectable between 709, P3 etc. Now as with most (I actually don’t know of one) flat panels it doesn’t support 100% of P3 color space but gets very close

It really depends on you client. Seasoned clients will demand better known brands such as Sony, Dolby or Cine-Tal. These monitors are not cheap but they re-assure the experienced clients you are not just toying with the profession. Less demanding clients or projects with very low budgets will not complaint even if you have a Vizio monitor from best Buy.

    I prefer Sony.

Am I the only one, who’s seeingI the irony in the situation, where client is looking for $15-$50k monitor, while Color or Resolve with Wave is being used?

I can see the irony. Having clients that pay attention to the branding of a video monitor while anything else in the room can be of cheap IKEA standards.

Hey, wait a little.. that sounds like my office! Except I have the JL Cooper and a Panasonic BT-LH monitor.

    Now wait.

You just have to get ikea cooper and ikea telly 🙂

We’ve got the Panny 20 series and the Cinetal Davio. Particularly if you need to work outside of Rec.709 it’s a great solution.

Thanks tony.My suite would be mainly for DI grading. So with davio do i need to buy cine space or no need of it.

    Thanks
