If you can wait for version 8 then you get denoise that runs on cuda.

For what i have seen it seems really exiting.

Generally i’d say on pc the only plus side is faster nvidia gpu but still one will need
damn good machine which is bit more costly compared to mac.

Also workflow is really important to keep in mind.

7.1 will need to have Nvidia card instead.

You should wait for the 8 to be available that you can upgrade for free.

But still if disk io is not bottleneck then machine probably is as prorez eats up cpu a lot.
